The managing director of Svinna-Engineering Ltd. is Dr. Ragnheidur I Thorarinsdottir. She holds a PhD in Engineering and MBA. Ragnheidur is former director and deputy director of the National Energy Authority in Iceland. She has a broad experience from various fields of engineering; energy utilization, material science and biochemistry both as a scientist and from administration. She has been responsible for several R&D and innovation projects internationally and has been an active entreprenur with foundation of companies. She has been member of scientific committees and boards and is experienced in financial and strategic projects. Moreover, she is a guest researcher at the University of Iceland, has supervised PhD, MSc, MPM and BSc students, and has a long teaching experience in engineering and business courses.
